I needed to remove cat urine smell from inside new Timberland boots! I tried the liquid soap, baking soda, and peroxide.; am about to try mixture of baking soda w/small amt. Glade Clean Linen Carpet and Room Odor Eliminator shaken inside, allowed to sit, then shaken out . Ariel soap is very good or Fabuloso or Frescito, among others with a lingering scent. My next step will be filling the boots with charcoal. I resolve not to throw these expensive boots away!!!!
...another brainstorm to remove smell from leather boots...put about 3/4 cup of Arm Hammer Cat Litter Deodorizer onto each one, shake it all about, let sit overnight enclosed in bag, and the next day..Voilla!
