I heard that the teething rings work really well because they were cold, but my baby kept wanting to chew on his blanket and other cloth like materials while he teethed so I put a few of his baby rags ( new ones of course) in the freezer in ziplock bags after getting them wet. When they froze a little bit I pulled them out and let him go to town.Of course I kept a close eye, but he loves it and his little teeth feel so much better.
