Unblocking a slow toilet

This is a tried and tested remedy and uses things readily available in the house. Take 300 gm baking soda and pour it in the toilet bowl, then add half a litre of vinegar (any vinegar would do) Cover the toilet and leave overnight. Flush in the morning and the blockage should be gone.
