To wash velveteen drapes / curtains — first shake well. Then put them into a bowl with plenty of warm soapy water and squeeze gently. Do not rub. Renew soapy water and repeat the process. Rinse in plenty of lukewarm water. Hang out without wringing and when dry, brush the velvet with a soft brush or rub with a square of foam.
