This cleanser consists of oatmeal, honey, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil. Oatmeal softens the skin and supplies lots of nutrients; honey has antibacterial properties and is an important ingredient in cleansing formulas; apple cider vinegar helps to restore the pH balance. This cleanser is very soft to the dry and dehydrated skin and can confidently substitute many commercial cleansers and soaps; I found that it also treats the acne problem.
Ingredients:
- 1 table spoon of oats (or oats bran)
- ½ teaspoon of raw honey
- ½ teaspoon of olive oil
- ½ teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
- 1 table spoon warm distilled water
Combine the ingredients and let stand for 1-2 minutes. Apply to a wet face in delicate motion and remove by rinsing with warm water. Follow with cold distilled water.
Bonus Beauty Tip: To tighten the pores and make your eyes look brighter, plunge your face into a basin filled with cold water (add a few ice cubes to it).
