Homemade facial cleanser Home made face cleaner

Mix 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, 2 tablespoons of glycerin, and 1/2 cup of water until smooth. Heat in a small pan placed in a water bath inside another pan. Heat until thick and clear; it will have the consistency of pudding. Do not boil. Cool completely, Use in place of soap to cleanse your skin. (If jelly is too thick, you may thin it by adding a little water, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach the desired consistency.)

Works great Comments By: Regine on 2009-04-17
Ran out of my cleanser and made this today. Very easy to make and worked great. Just wondering how long this will keep without a preservative. Thank you.

Keep it in the fridge Comments By: Kimberly on 2011-06-16
I would keep it in the refrigerator, you can also break a vitamin e capsule in it to help keep it from going rancid. If you have tea tree oil or rosemary extract you could put a drop in to help preserve it.
