Cold Remedy. Make your own Cold Remedy

You can relieve cold symptoms if you drink plenty of fluids and encourage your body to sweat. Here is a recipe for a drink that can help.

To make 1 drink

  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 tablet Vitamin C
  • 4 floz/115ml hot water

Mix all the ingredients together in a cup which already holds the water and then sip slowly. The garlic and cayenne pepper will make you sweat, while the lemon juice and Vitamin C tablet provide extra Vitamin C.
