Use white wine to remove Red wine stains

Submitted by Superlisa, Cheryl

A very effective way to remove a red wine stain is to use white wine. If you enjoy red wine, it is worth it to keep some very cheap white wine around just for this purpose. Pour it directly over the fresh red wine stain. The proteins which cause the stain are the same in both wines, just a different color. You will now have a white wine stain which no one can see. Launder the garment as usual.

Absolute rubbish. Try puring a glass of red wine into a glass of white wine. What colour does it end up? Certainly not colourless.
