Milk removes ball point pen stain on clothes

Submitted by Gills

With a ball point pen stain, soak part of a dishtowel with milk and rub the pen mark until it disappears, then wash as normal.

The milk tip works! (edited to say bucket of milk not water) Comments By: rae
my daughter drew on her new dress with biro.

I read this tip and put it in a bucket of milk all day and then scrubbed it with a face washer and amazingly it all seems to have come out (currently in washing machine)

it didn't just come out - needed to be scrubbed/rubbed and because it was a knit fabric the biro was in the weave and needed some rubbing to get out.

I can't believe this worked but it really did!
