Make your own large rubber bands

You can make mega strong rubber bands by cutting slices out of a car inner tube.

Cut old pantyhose and tights across each leg in different thickness none less that an inch and have a variety of different sized elastic type bands. Works great to use as headbands and ponytail holders as well as anything you'd use a rubber band for plus you'll have a much larger sizes.

another tip Comments By: l my son (5years old) also uses them to make arts and crafts. The weaving looms that you buy in stores comes with colored panty hose bands...so if he looses any i can easily replace them. ( and he knows if they're missing they're probably in my bathroom being used as hair elastics.lol)
