Soften cabbage leaves for cabbage roll / rolls / rolling
If you liked stuffed cabbage but hate handling the cabbage because it rips so easily try this: Freeze your cabbage - the whole head for a day or two and then thaw it out. The leaves will be limpy and enable you to roll them with ease!

When making cabbage rolls the cabbage can also be blanched very quickly to soften them. They will roll without cracking.
