Insecticide. Tips to remove Insecticide stains

Insecticides stored and used in the home are going to stain and discolor your carpet when spilled or over sprayed. When you first notice that you have spilled a bit of insecticide on the carpet, try to blot up as quickly as possible. Adding a bit of water quickly can dilute the insecticide so it won’t stain the area as bad, but you could spread the stain at the same time.

Insecticide is going to stain your carpet and discolor the carpeting – if you find that you have a large stain in a noticeable area you may have to have that portion of the carpet replaced, or you could try and locate a dealer that will dye the carpeting which can be expensive.
