White glue. Tips to remove White glue stains on carpets

Glue stains on your carpeting can be removed with these easy to use tips:

Using a paper towel or a clean cloth, blot up the glue that is one the top of the carpeting without spreading it out further. Use a butter knife or other type of dull material to scrape up any excess glue on the carpet.

Your next step in cleaning this stain is to use a spray bottle, add a 1/8-cup of ammonia and a cup of water. Spray this on the stained area and continue blotting up the moisture. Do not pour this mixture directly on the carpeting as it can damage your padding. Clean with the ammonia mixture until you are not bringing up any additional glue.

Make a spray mixture of two cups of water and a tablespoon of clear non-bleach liquid soap. Spray this on the stained area and dab up with a clean towel. Continue until your white glue stain is gone or you are not bringing up any more sticky mess.

Rinse the carpeting with a clear water spray and dab up. Bring out all the soap and ammonia, and any additional whit glue in the carpeting. Blot to dry the carpet with a clean paper towel or cloth. Let the area dry for about an hour and check if the stain is all gone. If the stain is gone, you are finished, if you have any stain left continue.

If you find that you still have more white glue stain in the carpeting, spray peroxide on the stain and dab it up with your towel. Continue until the stain is completely gone
