Vegetable oil. Tips to remove Vegetable oil stains on clothes and fabric

If you are cooking and have spilled some vegetable oil on your clothes, you can get it out following these cleaning tips.

Pre-treat the stain area with a stain remover and then rub the area with a clear laundry detergent. Let this sit over night and then launder as usual. Be sure not to dry the item until you check the stained area again.

If the vegetable oil stain is still in the fabric, use either chlorine bleach or all fabric bleach depending on what your fabric care instructions states, and hand wash the articles again using clear liquid detergent and the correct bleach type.

Do not dry the fabric but place it stain down on a towel and let the article dry. After dried, if the stain still remains, you can clean the fabric again with the following tip.

With the stain facing down on a paper towel or very absorbent towel, apply dry cleaning fluid to the fabric and follow the instructions on the package for cleaning. Let your article air dry, then rinse with water and launder again for a great clean fabric!
