Pumpkin Pie. Tips to remove Pumpkin Pie stains on clothes and fabric

Apply a pre treatment to your pumpkin pie stain. Pre treatments are generally an enzyme product that will work out the pumpkin stain. Let this stand for at least thirty minutes.

Wash your garment in the very hottest water that the tag for this garment says you can use.Be sure to use a detergent that is soap free because soap can set the stain. While you have this garment in the washer in the hot water, let it soak for a few hours so the stain will loosen up.

Launder as usual but don�t dry until you check the stain.

If you still have a bit of stain in the garment, use bleach if the fabric says that you can. Soaking the garment in a bucket with a cup of all fabric bleach will help work out the stain.

If you think you have gotten all the stain out, and you dry the garment but the stain turns brown this means that some sugar is still left in the fabric and it will not come out, so be sure to double check your stain before drying.
