Cranberry Juice. Tips to remove Cranberry Juice stains

Cranberry is a dark stain that is most noticeable on your upholstery.Be sure to repeat any of the cleaning steps listed as needed, to get the cranberry stain out completely.

The first thing that you will need to do when fighting a cranberry juice stain is to blot up and soak up as much of the excess liquid as you can with a towel or paper towel If the stain is already dried, wetting the stained area with a spray of clear water will loosen the stain and you can work on blotting and dabbing at the stain to bring out some of that coloring.

Keep repeating this on both the fresh or the older stain until you are not bringing out any more of the stain from the upholstery. Next you will need to rinse the area with a hydrogen peroxide spray mixed with ammonia.A half and half mixture will work well, just spraying this on the stained area and then blotting and dabbing the stain until you have cleaned the stain altogether or until you are unable to bring out any additional stains.

Rinse the upholstery well with a clear water spray where the cranberry stain was. Spray the stained area, dab and blot to bring out the moisture and additional coloring from the cranberry. If you have a discoloration still, make a mixture of water and a few drops of clear bleach free detergent or dish liquid.Spray this on the stained area and the blot and dab off. Rinse the upholstery well with clear water, dabbing and blotting with clean towels to bring out all remnants of the cranberry stain and the detergent in the upholstery.

Rinse the upholstery again, using a mixture of vinegar and water, a half and half mixture to get out all of the remaining suds and to work on fighting the stain at the same time.Leave this dry well after you have blotted the area to bring out all of the moisture that was possible.

Rinse again using a spray of hydrogen peroxide.Spray the cranberry stain, let it sit for about an hour, and then re spray and dab to dry the cranberry stained area well. Repeat using the peroxide to fight those deep down cranberry stains.
