Mucilage glue. Tips to remove Mucilage glue stains on upholstery

Glue is a tough stain to work on once it is set in and dried, but you can still see success often when using these tips in cleaning glue from your upholstery.

Using a spoon, knife or paper towel scrape and blot the liquid from the upholstery without stretching the material too much. Apply a few sprays of clear water to the stained area, letting it sit for a few seconds and then blotting the stained area.

Repeat as often as you need to bring out more of the glue stain. If you still have a glue stain, make a mixture of water and a few drops of clear dish liquid.Spray this mixture on the upholstery glue stain and blot it off, bringing more of the glue stain out of the upholstery as you blot.

Rinse your upholstery using clear water.Spray on the water, blot off with a paper towel or towel to get out all the moisture and suds in the upholstery.

To be sure that you have removed all of the suds and glue stain from your upholstery, spray with a half and half mixture of water and vinegar.Blotting this moisture out will bring any deep down stains and the suds leaving you stain free!
