Yellow laundry soap

This is manufactured from animal fats, olive or palm-kernel oils and caustic soda. Also they include items such as borax, sodium carbonate, waterglass and sodium phosphates. Laundry soap will pollute the water and can cause allergies. Never use it for washing the body.

Alternative

Soap flakes are also good for hand washing, particularly in soft water. They are preferable for delicate articles.
