Make your own glass cleaner

To make a home-made glass cleaner mix equal parts of isopropyl rubbing alcohol, ammonia and water. Put the mixture in a spray bottle, properly labeled.

A great and inexpensive way to clean your windows. 2 Cups ammonia, 1/2 Cup white vinegar, 1 drop of food coloring (if it has to look like the more expensive blue cleaners), put in a 1- gallon bottle and fill with water. Some for now, some for later

Fill a spray bottle with vinegar, spray window then wipe clean with newspaper

2 tablespoons. vinegar or lemon juice
1 qt. water

Combine the ingredients and put them in a spray bottle. Use like any window cleaner.

Use newspaper to dry your windows. It's cheaper than paper towels and it leaves windows shiny and streak free. Also, coffee filters work well!
