Remove tar from vinyl and linoleum floors

If you have found tar on your vinyl or linoeum - you can get it up.

All you have to do is use a dull knife, your finger nails or something similar like a popsicle stick. Keeping picking and scraping at this area until you have got it all up. Don't use sharp objects as you could cut a hole in the floor easily.

Another idea Comments By: Heather When I was a child and got tar on me, my father used to wipe it off with a drop of cigarette-lighter fuel on a tissue. Worked every time. Would not recommend it for absorbant items, though, only non-porous.
