If you find that you are always sewing on the same buttons. Then here is a simple idea to keep buttons in place for ever.

Instead of using cotton, use dental floss. Dental floss will stand up to wear and tear much better than cotton. Simple but effective.

Another way of making sure that your buttons stay in place is to place a drop of clear nail polish/varnish on the thread when you have finished sewing.
