To dye straw hats or baskets when you want to create that special look or change a look just mix a powdered dye with denatured alcohol in a container. Use rubber gloves so your don't dye your hands and fingers and a little paintbrush so you can get in to all the little cracks and mixit until right color that you want and paint all over the straw.
