Stop animals digging in patio plants and window boxes

If you have squirrels or cats that just keep digging in your patio pots, containers, and in the window boxes, try rubbing camphor oil along the rims of the containers - the entire way around the containers. Animals seem to hate the smell of the camphor oil and will leave them alone, leaving you with beautiful and thriving plants! 

Reapply when the smell fades or you notice that the rains have washed off the camphor oil.
