Margarine or butter for tar stains

Submitted by Angie Mcewan

To remove tar stains from clothes, an easier way is to rub in a liberal amount of margarine or butter, and then wash in the usual way. To remove tar from furniture and carpets rub with eucalyptus oil.

It works!!! I live by the sea.
