Comments By: anon lol i figured that out on my own about a month ago. so it really works/ not just my imagination? great :) the theory behind my reason for using vaseline: i researched mavala doublelash & lipocil - y they work. basically they're simply providing nutrients and most importantly, additional moisture flow. so i reasoned, since vaseline lubricates things, it wouldn't hurt to spread a thin layer top and bot after showering or facial cleanse   Awesome Comments By: Chelsea About three months ago, I began applying Vaseline to my eyelashes...wow, it works great! My eyelashes have gotten longer and less of them fall out. The lashes remain stronger, and more flexible, take mascara and curl better. I apply a coat bottom and top of the lashes at night, and in the morning, wash it off in the shower. Just don't apply eye makeup while wearing the vaseline or your makeup will smudge TERRIBLY. Make sure it's all off before doing your eye makeup. I honestly dnt know what happened to my eyelashes. they use to be long, but half of them i burned off (accidently) and i think mascara had a little to do with it too. Surely with all the stuff it can do shouldn't it be more expensive? As I said, Vaseline is a miracle! I am Asian and I have short and straight eyelashes. One day, I read the theory that Vaseline makes your eyelashes grow longer. And it does! I've been using Vaseline on my lashes for nearly a week now and the results are wonderful. I find it much easier to curl my eyelashes, and my eyelashes look really smooth, and most important notably longer! For those people who don't know how to apply it on, you just stick your index finger in the jar and take out a small bit. Put your finger in front of your eyelashes and blink so your eyelashes touch your finger. Keep blinking until you have covered your entire top lash with Vaseline. For the bottom lashes, just wipe on the Vaseline like you would wipe lip gloss on your lips, although you must be more gentle. I would also recommend using Vaseline on your eyebrows. If you have eyebrows that you would like to grow thicker, just wipe Vaseline on it. Also, it is quite good for shaping your eyebrows. Hope my advice has helped! <3   i hope vaseline works! YAY!   even helps with removal Comments By: JERI yes it works, and it even is the best thing for removing eye make-up. The way to put in on, take a q-tip and stick it in the jar. Apply it like the q-tip is your mascara. If you get to much on,wipe gently with a tissue. I never wore vaseline with mascara at the same time, that will end up in a smudgy mess. But don't get too frustated if you don't see the results right away. Everyone is different. Some have the results within a week. For some others, it takes weeks or even months. All you need to have is patience and dedication. It will definately work for you. Just be sure to apply it every night before you go to bed. I stand by my word. =]   DOES IT REALLY WO)RK???? Mine are usually a little smudgy when I wake up though, but it's not a problem as long as you wash your eyes off. I use johnsons tearless baby shampoo on my eyes in the shower and that gets it off really well. I just bought a travel size jar of vaseline for under a $1 and used it today. My lashes may be short, but I actually have thick lashes, so I was pleasantly surprised that vaseline made my eyelashes seem even thicker. Yay for vaseline and I hope my eyelashes grow like everyone else's.
