Stain removing and brightening

To remove stains from socks or any other clothing, especially children's clothing or work clothes.

Dissolve 1 cup of dishwasher detergent in washing machine set at hot and lowest water level until detergent is dissolved, then fill with warm water, add clothes and let agitate for most of the washing cycle, then shut off and let clothes soak overnight. Next day start at beginning of wash cycle right through rinse cycle, put through rinse cycle again so as to remove any residue that may irritate the skin.
