Biological detergent for stain removal
As part of a stain removal kit have some liquid biological laundry detergent.
Biological laundry detergent contains enzymes that break down specific stains
such as protein (blood, milk and egg) and fat. It has improved sop much over
recent years that many stains will be removed by simple washing.
Use as a prewash for soaking heavy stains.
If you are not using liquid detergent make sure that the powdered variety has
properly dissolved before immersing fabrics.
Do not use biological detergent on protein fibers such as wool and silk, or
on non-colorfast or flame-resistant fabrics.
