Clean Up Vomit and stop the smell

A very bumpy plane ride gave me a great education in cleaning up vomit. The flight attendants used a package of coffee. They spread it over the vomit. It not only soaked up the liquid, it filled the foul-smelling plane with a wonderful coffee aroma. The "grounds" were then swept up, leaving a dry and scent-free carpet.

Well......it worked wonders and now my house smells like Starbucks. Now the vomit smell could possibly still be there....but the coffee smell may overpower the vomit smell. I'll take coffe over vomit anyday.
