I use liquid laundry soap to clean our tub, it removes soap scum and also mildew that grows in the cracks between the tile. I apply it and scrub it in with a scrub brush let it sit a minute and then rinse.
Your tub will be shiney and clean.
I also use laundry soap to shampoo my rugs it reduces pet odors(especially if you use the color safe bleach) and makes carpets look and smell like new again, it may take a couple of applications but it is worth it!
