Heres my tip on cleaning a smelly mop

To remove lingering odours from your mop, simply place it in a bucket of water with a cup of Bicarbonate of Soda and half a cup of salt - leave overnight to soak and dry. This will remove dirt and grime, and remove the unpleasant smell. This should be done regularly to keep smells at bay.
