Feces. Tips to remove Feces stains

Baby feces is best treated when it is still wet but this is not always the option. Blot up as much of the excess liquid as you can. If the feces is already dried on the fabric scrape off any excess feces that you can using a butter knife or your fingernails.

Treat the feces stain with a pre treatment spray or stain stick, letting the stain sit for about ten minutes.

Apply a liberal amount of liquid laundry detergent to the stained area, working it in with your fingers or a soft scrub brush. You should apply this to both sides of the fabric for the best results.

Soak the fabric in a cold bucket of water for a few hours or over night if possible.

Launder the item as usual with out drying the fabric in the dryer.

Let the fabric air dry so that you can re inspect the stain.

If the stain is very stubborn, read the tag to be sure you can use bleach soak the fabric in a gallon of water with a half cup of bleach. Soak for ten minutes, rinse and re inspect.

If you dont like using bleach on your baby clothes, you can use a cup of vinegar and two cups of water, soaking the fabric in cold water. Rinse well and then re inspect.

Repeat all or any of these steps as needed to bring out the baby stain completely.
