Car Wash Concentrate. Make your own Car Wash Concentrate

Use this straightforward mixture to leave your car clean and shining.

To make enough for 2 washes

  • 8 floz/225ml washing-up liquid
  • 12 tablespoons washing powder
  • 1 large bucket of water

Mix the washing-up liquid and washing powder together and store in a clearly labelled bottle. To use, add 4 f1oz/115g of the concentrate to the water, or more if a stronger solution is desired.

Note:- Washing powder is the UK name for laundry detergent

Washing up liquid contains salt as an abrasive to loosen food etc from crockery. You don't want salt on your car. Also will remove wax from paint.
