Dog Biscuits. Make your own Dog biscuits

Here is a  recipe to make your own Dog Biscuits. These make a tasty treats for your pet, and you know what they are made of.

To make 16 medium size biscuits

  • 14oz/400g dog food (See dog food in this section)
  • 8oz/225g unprocessed bran
  • 8oz/225g old fashioned oatmeal
  • 4 floz/115ml vegetable oil

Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 1/2, 120C/250F. Mash the dog food in a medium-size bowl to remove all the lumps, and then mix in the bran and oatmeal. Slowly add the oil, mixing to a consistency that is easy to mould into patties or bone shapes. (You may find it necessary to use more or less oil than the recipe calls for.) Bake for 3 1/2 hours, then cool and store in a covered tin. If completely airtight, the biscuits will keep for 1 month refrigerated.

Glad to see no corn meal, wheat and soy in that recipe. Now On dog foods I recommend that they also have no corn meal,Wheat and Soy,use only Human Grade Organic Foods to make a wholesome organic treat.
Thank you for that one
