Face mask. Make your own Wrinkle smoother

The following recipe will smooth away any wrinkles and moisten dry skin on your face.

To make enough for 1 treatment

  • 1 egg
  • 4fl oz/115ml coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Place the egg in a small bowl and beat it thoroughly. Slowly add the honey and coconut oil, beating until the mixture is about the same consistency as mayonnaise. Take a left over empty toilet roll and place plastic wrap over one end to hold the mixture in. Hold it upright over the bowl and spoon the mixture into it. Place the roll in the freezer.

To use, peel away some of the cardboard and rub the frozen stick over your face and leave for 5-10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. This mixture will keep for several months in your freezer if after use you cover the used end with some more plastic wrap and return it to the freezer.

The mask made my face swell up and i
starting choking. I was taken to the ER
and had to have an operation on my vocal
chords.

HAVEN'T TRIED BUT...TO THE PERSON WHO HAD TO HAVE SURGERY DUE A FACE MASK. ARE YOU SURE THAT THIS IS A LEGITIMATE CAUSE AND EFFECT RELATIONSHIP?? IS IT POSSIBLE THAT YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO ONE OF THE INGREDIENTS OR HAD AN EXISTING CONDITION? I THINK IT'S A PRETTY BIG LEAP TO BLAME COMMON HOUSEHOLD PRODUCTS FOR A NEED FOR SURGERY!

i havent tried it yet either but ive done something similiar and it worked great. thelma is misled and im sure she hasnt even tried this tip. i have a parent whose a doctor and puttin honey, coconut oil, or egg on your face cannot affect your vocal cords, even if u are allergic.

Use a whole egg ??? Comments By: Anon on 2006-01-04
Do you use the egg white only or the whole egg ???

TipKing Says: Seems to me like the recipe is saying a whole egg. So I assume that is the yolk and the white.
