Laundry and chlidren

Submitted by Cheryl

If you have children, involving them in laundry teaches them from the start that they need to help out.

Have your children sort out their own laundry basket, putting the whites in one pile and the darks in another. You might have to sort as you are going through and doing the laundry - but this gets them involved in the household chores.

Empty the Pockets First!!!! Comments By: Lynn on 2010-07-28
I am all about teaching my kids to do things around the house. Lesson 1: EMPTY THE POCKETS! Daughter "helped" with laundry and washed a pack of gum. Thankfully we discovered it before it hit the dryer! Lesson 2: Rubbing alcohol takes off gum from clothes!
