Repair a poorly fitting furniture joint

Sprinkle baking soda (Bicarbonate of Soda) into a poorly fitting furniture joint and apply superglue. The soda fills the gap and sets rapidly like concrete, making a strong joint.

Trying this tip could result in making a a bad situation worse.
When it fails to perform or loosens again you will find that doing a correct and more substantial repair will be a much more difficult proposition.
Bad repairs are almost always harder to remedy than whatever the problem started out to be.
