Toilet roll, Kitchen roll. Uses for old toilet roll and kitchen roll holders

After the toilet paper roll or kitchen roll is empty it can still have a few good uses so read on for a list of uses:

• Wrap electrical cords that you don't use.
  
  
• Wrap your Xmas lights around the roll to keep them tidy.
  
  
• If you have a small strand of lights or garlands, you can put them on the inside of the rolls and they will be kept in place.
  
  
• Storing knitting needles can always be a problem. Here is a clever idea. Use one of those long cardboard tubes that are left over after your kitchen foil runs out. Cover one end with sticky tape and pinch the other end closed. Slide your knitting needles in for secure organized storage.
