Insecticides stored and used in the home are going to stain and discolor your carpet when spilled or over sprayed. When you first notice that you have spilled a bit of insecticide on the carpet, try to blot up as quickly as possible. Adding a bit of water quickly can dilute the insecticide so it won�t stain the area as bad, but you could spread the stain at the same time.
Insecticide is going to stain your carpet and discolor the carpeting � if you find that you have a large stain in a noticeable area you may have to have that portion of the carpet replaced, or you could try and locate a dealer that will dye the carpeting which can be expensive.
