Ink permanent. Tips to remove permanent Ink stains on clothes and fabric

Permanent ink and markers are one of the most difficult and impossible stains to remove from fabrics and materials. Use any or all of the methods listed to try and work out the permanent ink stain. In some cases you may be able to lighten the stain enough so that the clothing or fabric can still be useable and wearable.

When the accident first happens or as soon as you notice this stain, you should run water over the ink stained area. The water is going to keep the stain fresh so you can work with it longer.

Using a cotton ball and some dry cleaning solution, and dab at the ink stain. Pouring a few drops of dry cleaning solution over the stained area will help break up the ink stain as well.

Rinse the fabric once again.

Use ammonia and dab over the ink stained area. If you are still seeing the ink lifting from the fabric, soak the garment in a gallon of water with two cups of ammonia added.

Rinse the garment once again.

Repeat any steps that bring out the ink in the garment. You can also try using a color stripper, that will take all of the color in your fabric out and you can re dye the item if you want to really save the fabric.
