Remove wax on wood or smooth surfaces

You can remove candle wax spills from wooden furniture or just about any type of wood surface. First you need to soften the wax with a hairdryer set on medium heat to melt the wax. When the wax starts to melt wipe it off with a soft cloth, you will see it move like butter. Wipe the area with a mild vinegar solution and polish as you normally would for a great shine!

When you are fighting wax on smooth surfaces think about this: Save your white dryer sheets. The fabric softener sheets that you use in your dryer is all you need. When you have finished using them in the dryer they are ideal for cleaning wax from smooth surfaces such as glass, high gloss coffee tables, candle holders, glass candle holders etc. Simply keep wiping the dryer sheets over the affected area until the wax disappears. It is all this simple. The dryer sheet will leave glass sparkling great.

Like magic the hairdryer melted the wax & I wiped clean off with a cloth! All gone - so pleased! Thank you!
