Add a teaspoon of white sugar to your dog food daily, it makes your dog fur shiny.

How irresponsible. (Then there's diabetes.) No offense, but it's enough having to combat old wives' tales and other ignorance (and often enough cruelty,) without having irresponsible people spreading harmful misinformation and lack of common sense. Check with reliable sources before passing on hints - please.
