Use a BRAND NEW tube of PREPARATION H... Yes I said preparation h.... Use several times a day to bring the swelling down of a fever blister. I know it sounds sick but it works.

Tried today before reading this Comments By: Nicole on 2007-07-27 IT Worked amazingly. At first I applied Campho-Phenel as soon as I felt it yesterday, I just had surgery a few days ago so my imune system was low too. It was the biggest one yet. It still progressed and by this morning my lip was really swolen. I applied Prep-H by mid agternoon and all the swelling is pretty much gone and it has stayed soft even though it's drying out.
