LOSING WEIGHT ! Detailed tip for Weight loss!

Submitted by Matt Young

The human body comes in 3 body types. Skinny, normal and fat. There are three reasons why fat people can't lose weight.

  1. Their liver and pancreas don't process (break down fat efficiently)
  2. They eat too much.
  3. They don't burn enough calories.

Most fat people fall into category 1 and 3. Contrary to popular belief, they don't actually eat that much, it's just that what they eat does not get processed and broken down sufficiently, and stores up in the body. Then they don't do enough exercise to burn it off.

So, what's the SNAKE OIL REMEDY: Well folks, it's actually quite simple, but nobody ever thought of it and it goes like this...Limit your daily intake to not more than 11000 calories a day of healthy food (green vegetables, fat free meats and chicken, vegetable soups...NO SWEETS). Exercise half an hour every day by walking, and doing crunches (but don't get your heart rate over 150 p/min). What fat you have on your body now will probably take a long time to BURN OFF (few months), but, if you do exercise with aerobic cardiovascular methods, you will achieve your goal.

IF YOU DON'T SEE A RESULT IN ABOUT 3 MONTHS OF EATING LESS FOOD (1100 CALORIES), AND EXERCISING, YOU MAY NEED TO HAVE THE FAT REMOVED BY COSMETIC SURGERY...then continue on your low fat 1100 calorie diet with exercise and drink plenty of water.

COMMON MYTH: Fat burners are a marketing ploy (hell you'll try anything), and smoking only damage your internal organs, but you smoke to take the craving of food away (right?), wrong, smoking actually speeds up your metabolism and raises your blood pressure which makes you hungry, this puts strain on your heart NOT A GOOD THING TO DO IF YOU ARE OVERWEIGHT !

SUMMARY: If you fall into category 2 - Eat too much (then cut back and exercise) but if you fall into category 1 & 3 then try to follow this regime: Stick to an 1100 calorie per day diet (scientifically proven to be sufficient calories for a human being per day). Your body will take additional calories from the fat stored in your body if it needs more like BEARS DO when they hibernate. Exercise...I know, it's hard to do, but you have to, and it is a slow process, but it's worth it ! I hope that helps millions of you out there...

wrong calorie amount Comments By: Anon on 2005-03-23
Should state 1100 calories in the first statement instead of 11000. You make it sound easy, nevertheless, and I'm going to try it.

Yes 1200 cal or below, dont drop below 1000 a day. It will work but dont just eat 3 meals a day. I eat 6 times a day and stay around 1200 calories. Eat 6oz of lean meat, 1 1/2 cups veg, 1 cup fruit, i cup low fat milk. I serving starch , i serving fat, i serving protein. This works. I also walk first thing in the am and also before I wind down for sleep at night. Weight lifting ( not body building) will also help burn fat. I do some form of that 3x a week and cardio everyday. Sinse May 2004 I have lost 110 lbs..... Stay focused dont call it a diet call it a life change..TIPS : NO PIZZA ( about 400 cal per slice), NO Sweet candies... Use splenda in your coffee ..stay active, and watching less TV will help////

Eating too little will make you fat Comments By: yadmit on 2005-03-27
If you don't eat enough, your body will start storing everything you DO eat... which in turn, will make you overweight...

You need to find how many calories you need to live... This is your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR)....

For example, a 35 year old woman, who is 5'6" and weighs 130 pounds needs at least 1358 calories, just to stay alive... now if you're active, you'll obviously need more.

Also, instead of three square meals a day, eat five or six smaller meals... this keeps your body going...

Do not fall into the into the instant weight loss trap... there is no such thing...

Just my 2 cents...

I'm naturally slim and hate it, clothes dont fit right and i get sunburnt really easy. Sure lose a bit of weight if it boosts your confidence but dont go mad it really isnt that great being very slim.

Yeah...I totally agree Comments By: Elisa on 2005-03-28
Yup.I agree with this tip! I followed a similar diet (1200 cals plus an hour of running every day) and lost 13 kilos (like 28libs) in three months.

It makes you feel good...it's REALLY tough to stick to the calorie limit...but after a while you get used to it...For me that meant...a tomato sandwich, a yogurt, a few pieces of fruit here and there and then a lentils dinner.

Don't beat yourself up about it if you don't manage to stick with it after a while....just as long as you stick CLOSE to the 1200 limit...and excercise! I was once one of those girls who didn't like the walk from the parking lot to the mall...but running or whatever makes you feel good in general, and also about the proactive element that you're taking in trying to lose weight.

Make sure you do lots of cardio and a bit of weights....muscle burns fat! Which means that you burn fat while you sleep..simple yeah? Good luck people!

what a load of rubbish!!! Comments By: rachel on 2008-03-11
please do not follow this advice!!! the reason that people are overweight (excluding those with genuine medical reasons for being so) is because they eat too much - PLAIN AND SIMPLE!!!

if overweight people ate a healthy balanced diet with limited sugary/fatty meals or snacks, drank more water and did 30 mins of exercise 5 times a week they will see the weight come off no problem.

you sir, are a fool!!
